You need to download XACTOS and there is a tutorial on Blue Cat’s website. The XACTOS plug-in allows the user to load an Apple AAX plugin into the Mixer and then control it from the patch panel. The ability to load an AAX plug-in into Patch Work is part of the XACTOS (a demo version of Patch Work for which is available for both 32 and 64-bit host OSs) plug-in. Patch Work, as I understand it, is an audio mixing tool and it is not, and I repeat, it is not a software-based host plugin for AAX plugins. The Host plugin extension is currently only available for Mac OS X, and even then it is only available as a 32-bit product. You need to download a version of Patch Work that has the VST3 plug-in host extension.
